Twitter Adds the “Suggestions for You” Feature

A few days ago, Twitter released a powerful community building feature called “Suggestions for You“.  This new feature algorithmically provides suggestions of new people to follow based on those you follow and the people they follow.  This live feature is shown in the screen capture below:

These suggestions may appear when you follow someone, use the Find People search, and when you view an account profile.  Suggestions will also become available via API for application developers.
